| | I'm very new to Skelta BPM and my question is very basic. I'm working on a proof of concept to see if BPM can satisfy our client's requirement needs. I have created a new workflow in Enterprise Console, and I want to step through and assign a task to myself to arrive in my Inbox to see how the workflow executes. I do not see anywhere in Enterprise Console where a new task may be created and assigned and associated with a workflow. How is this process done? |

| | For simple task, such as an Approval you can use any of our human activities. From your post looks like you have been able to reach to Process Designer. Once you are designing the process, you can then add Approval acitvity in the workflow, once activity is added right click on it, and Choose Setup Actors option. Once you have selected appropriate actor (in this case yourself) you can publish the workflow. Workflow needs some event for triggering. For e.g. if you are working along with SharePoint you can assign workflow to an SharePoint event using Event Association option and the workflow will trigger whenever that particular event occurs in SharePoint. Hope this helps.
