Hi,
The issue is with data base user. Please make sure the Data Base user configured during farm configuration (see attached image) has sysadmin rights to the server and also to this particular DataBase.

Hi,
I have same problem. The database is run on other machine.
I found that when I disable windows firewall and click button "Test SQL Connection" again, Test connection was succeeded.

I think it is a firewall problem then witch port number to add to windows firewall exceptions.

When I turn-on windows firewall I already add exceptions for TCP Port 1433

Hi Sitthipong,

This should be something to do with MSDTC Settings, Can you please check the settings using the MSDTC tool and make sure valid connection can be made between sql server and client.

The tool can be downloaded from

Regards,

Hi
The problem is solved by add c:\windows\system32\msdtc.exe to windows firewall exceptions.

Thanks.
