| | Fresh install. Setup a repository with Active Directory as the security provider. The admin role is mapped to a valid AD account (part of the local admin group on the server). When opening Enterpise Console for the Repository the user is not logged in. I've double checked that authentication is set correctly for the website. Even when manually typing in credentials it says "invalid user id or password". The only thing that looks relevant in the log is: i - Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed., Module - C:\WINDOWS\assembly \GAC_MSIL\Skelta.Repository.CodeBehind\3.5.0.0__e22a4e3dd0665a70\Skelta.Reposito ry.CodeBehind.dllC:\WINDOWS\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Skelta.Repository.CodeBehind\3.5.0 .0__e22a4e3dd0665a70\Skelta.Repository.CodeBehind.dll , Assembly version = 3.5.9 027.2, WRKFLSRV, Process - w3wp, 12/15/2009 2:29:22 PM I'd appreciate any assistance in troubleshooting this. -Nate |

| | Hi, Try the below steps: 1. Go to the Skelta Database and opened SKAddInProviders table. Modified the entry in the column named "Type" as ECEvents to ECEvents1. 2. Deleted all temporary files related to Skelta and Skelta related projects in C:\WINDOWS\Temp\Skelta2009Temp and C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files 3. Gave an IIS reset Thanks, |

| That worked! Thanks! I can now log in to Enterprise Console.
I understand about removing the temp files in Skelta Temp and the .NET framework temp. I had tried that before. But what was the significance of changing the ECevents? What did that do?
OK, when I try to create an AX form, I get a little popup window that says "invalid URI: the hostname could not be parsed". It then won't connect to AX web services.
Here's the log entry:

I've double checked that AX web services are working and that the URL is correct in the wfengine.net2.exe.config file.
Thanks, -Nate |

| I was able to resolve the issue. I didn't have the AX web services URL listed correctly in the web.config files.
Thanks, -Nate |
