| All,
I have looked through the Skelta Developer Guide and User Guide and cannot figure out how to add charts to the BAM Dashboard. From the screenshot at http://www.skelta.com/images/2008/bam/kpi-piechart.html, this appears possible. In the BAM Configuration tool for the work flow, I have added KPIs and KPI Data Points. I know some of these entries are for email alerts. I'm not interested in the email alerts but the addition of new charts to the BAM Dashboard.
What are the steps required to add new charts to the BAM Dashboard to track the various parts of a work flow?
Thank you. |

| | Hi, Once after the report configuration in done, BAM report should be processed in order to display the user settings in the dashboard. You can schedule the BAM Processing or can be done manually by clicking on ‘Process Now’ button in the BAM Configuration settings. Thanks, Sri

| Sri, Is the BAM Configuration tool what you are referring to when you say "report configurition?" When I have added KPI Data Points, KPIs, an item under Performance, leave alert blank, and click the "Process Now" button in the Basic Configuration tab, no extra dashboards are added to Sketa BAM. A dialog box saying the "BAM updation process completed" does appear after pressing the "Process Now" button. It seems like there should be a step where add information to the Skelta BAM Dashboard. For example, a way to create a new Dashboard and name it X.y.z etc. Am I missing a step? | |

| Hi,
Hope you have configured the BAM KPIs for the workflow. After the successful configuration, you need to process the data by clicking the Process Now button from "Basic Configuration" Tab. You can also schedule the tasks to process the data.
Once the data is processed for the workflow, you could see the BAM KPI charts for that worklfow in the dashboard.(BamKPI.GIF).
you can also refer BPM 2009 User guide for more information on the BAM KPI configuration(BAMHelp.GIF).

| Thank you for the information.
I am accessing the BAM through Sharepoint at http://< site >/_layouts/BPMUISharePointTemplates/BAM.aspx
I have created the KPIs for the workflow and have clicked the Process Now button in the "Basic Configuration" tab.
And still, nothing shows up... Could it be possible that this component of Skelta is turned off in my environment?

| Attached please find screenshots of the Administrator and Contributer rights. From what I can tell, these groups give users full rights in BAM. Is that correct? I am part of the Contributer group and no new Dashboard components show up.
I am basically having to deal with out helpdesk to solve this issue. So I am trying to tell them what is wrong so they can fix it.
Could my problem deal with permission? Does the Skelta Contributer group have to be added to a Sharepoint Group? Any ideas on what the possible problem could be is greatly appreciated.

| | The error was with the permissions. I was added to a 'global' group and now the 'Global Reports' workflow option appears in the dropdown box in BAM that shows my workflows and related charts. Thanks for everyones help. |
